About Jeffrey:

Jeffrey is one of the sweetest guppies I've ever had. If I go from one side of the tank to the other, he'll follow me. I got Jeffrey in late August of 2021, and now whenever I enter the room he comes to the front of the tank just to see me. Jeffrey eats 1 flake every other day, which is a great diet for him and keeps him at the right weight (remember, this might not be a good idea for every fish). Jeffrey is called a Leopard-Tail Guppy because his tail looks kind of like a leopard print pattern. For 2021 Christmas (which I think was Jeffrey's first Christmas) he got 2 new decorations for his tank!

How Did I Name Jeffrey?

I got the name "Jeffrey" for my guppy because I had a few names in mind such as Steve, Wilbur, and Jeffrey. I named another guppy Steve who is sadly no longer with us. I named another guppy Wilbur who sadly passed away a few months ago. So, I decided to name my Leopard-Tail guppy Jeffrey.

Why Do I Name My Aquatic Animals?

I know many people don't name their aquatic animals, especially guppies. However, whenever I get fish I make sure I can all tell them apart somehow. I like to name my aquatic animals as that makes me feel like I have a better relationship with them!
